Our Mission
Farm Finder Network is an online directory created to bridge the gap between farmers, homesteaders, co-ops, eco-sustainable businesses, agricultural businesses, and the people searching for them.
We believe in the power of local: local farms, local food, local knowledge, local businesses, and strong community relationships. Our goal is to make discovering these resources easier while helping farmers and small businesses gain greater visibility.
Farm Finder Network is building a growing hub where people can discover farms, farmsteads, farmers markets, agricultural businesses, sustainable resources, and communities committed to a more connected and self-sufficient way of life.

Why Local Matters
Supporting local is about much more than where we buy our food. It strengthens communities, keeps knowledge and traditions alive, supports hardworking families, and helps create more resilient local economies.
Small farms, independent growers, homesteaders, and locally owned businesses can easily be overlooked. Yet these are often the very people growing food, raising animals, preserving skills, and serving their neighbors every day.
When emergencies, supply disruptions, or other unexpected events occur, knowing what resources exist close to home can become even more important. Farm Finder Network exists to help make those connections easier to find.
The small guys deserve to be seen, supported, and remembered.
About the Founder
Kaylania Chapman • Founder, Farm Finder Network
Hi, I’m Kaylania Chapman, founder of Farm Finder Network. I created Farm Finder Network in 2025 after God gave me a vision for something that could help connect people with local farms, growers, businesses, and resources while encouraging communities to think more intentionally about preparedness and self-reliance.
I am a Believer, and my faith is at the foundation of this vision. Farm Finder Network is about more than building a directory. For me, it is about stewardship, community, preparation, supporting hardworking people, and helping others recognize resources that may have been around them all along.

I’m an Orlando, Florida native and have called Atlanta, Georgia home since 2025. I worked in nursing on and off for several years, including travel nursing. My work eventually took me to Minnesota, where I spent a few years living and working.
Minnesota changed the way I looked at farm life. I met so many people who were farmers or came from farming families. Several of my healthcare co-workers were Minnesota natives who taught me a great deal about farming, advanced fishing, canning, food preservation, and the practical knowledge that often gets passed from one generation to another.
In many ways, that appreciation was already part of my family. My late grandfather was a veteran, a former chef, and someone who loved growing his own food. I’ve also always had a fondness for animals, nature, and farm life.
Those experiences stayed with me. Then came the vision for Farm Finder Network.
I believe we need to remember the people growing food, raising animals, producing local goods, preserving traditional skills, and quietly serving their communities. Folks often forget about the small guys. Farm Finder Network was created to help change that.
My hope is that this platform inspires people to look local, support local, learn practical skills, build meaningful relationships within their communities, and know where to turn when potential disasters, shortages, or other unexpected events happen.
