A highlight of Penton Farms is the Sugar Hill U-Pick, which began in 2008 as a collaboration between Penton Farms and Evans Farms. Starting with a modest setup of 28,000 strawberry plants and a simple 8-foot table, the venture has flourished over the years. Today, it boasts over 200,000 strawberry plants spread across approximately 20 acres. Visitors can immerse themselves in the joy of picking their own strawberries, and the farm has expanded its offerings to include school field trips, a spacious picnic area, and a playground for children.

The fall season brings another cherished tradition: the Penton Farms Pumpkin Patch. Launched in 2016, this event has grown in popularity, attracting families from all over to partake in its myriad activities. Guests can enjoy wagon rides, navigate through a corn maze, interact with animals in the barn, and much more. The farm continually enhances the experience by adding new attractions each year, ensuring that there’s always something fresh and exciting for returning visitors.
